MY SERVICES

By watching your cat at home and seeing how they interact with people and their environment, I can formulate recommendations for addressing most behavioural problems like:

Cats Fighting
  • Scratching or urinating on furniture
  • Aggression and biting
  • Poor relations with other cats and animals at home
  • Anxiety issues
  • Fear-based behaviours
  • Socialization issues
  • Problems interacting with new family members
  • Spraying indoors
  • House-training issues
  • Cat obesity
  • Not letting owners sleep at night

Every cat and every situation is different. In each instance I will look to see where a problem comes from, to achieve the best outcome for both you and your cat.

Our vet recommended Peta to us when our cat, Lenny, was experiencing very frequent FLUTD flare-ups.

Peta was very thorough in her initial phone consult, her home visit, and with the information, she sent us after the visit. She was able to identify several aspects of our litter tray set up that might have been causing Lenny stress and provided us with wonderful tips for other ways we can reduce his stress.

We followed Peta's advice and Lenny is now a much happier, less stressed cat who no longer urinates in places he shouldn't.

I highly recommend her!

As foster carers, we have found the help from Peta to be invaluable.

We’ve had several cats and kittens with behavioural issues stay with us, and when the issues have been difficult to overcome, we’ve always contacted Peta to have these understood and corrected.

We give our warmest recommendations to Peta and will definitely continue to make use of her services in the future.

As an animal lover and a vet I’ve had experience with cats and their behaviour over an extended period of time. However I was struggling with our recent acquisition of 2 adult cats from a rehoming shelter. Even after several weeks they were clearly still very anxious and had started to urinate inappropriately through our house. I know how quickly a problem like this can become a habit that’s difficult and unpleasant to live with. I asked some colleagues for recommendations and Peta was recommended to me by another vet. I am so grateful for that recommendation and for Peta’s help and expertise. From our first contact on the phone she was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. After a visit to our home and a long discussion I felt armed with new knowledge and confident that I had a plan to implement to help my new feline friends settle in to our home.  Our cats are now very happy and content with no more inappropriate urination.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Peta. I feel passionately supportive of her instrumental role in helping people work through behavioural problems that may otherwise result in distraught owners and cats being surrendered to shelters.
